Welcome to DSC

Welcome to the Dixie Sailing Club web site!  DSC is located on beautiful Lake Martin between Kowaliga Bridge and The Ridge Marina (click here for directions).  We have club racing scheduled almost every weekend from March to November along with our annual Punchbowl Regatta in the spring and Scotalina TuTu/Scow Now Regatta in the fall.  We also have many social events scheduled throughout the year including potluck dinners and overnight cruising activities.

We are a member of DIYRA (Dixie Inland Yacht Racing Association) and the US Sailing Association. Our races are run under the Rules of the US Sailing Association and use the Portsmouth Handicap, so the different boat classes are scored as equals. The best skipper wins even if he has a slow class boat.  Even if you don't have a boat, you can come join the fun.  Some of our best sailors started out as beginners.  To learn more about us or to download an application, visit the "About Us" section.  To see our full schedule, visit the "Club Events".    Still not sure why sailboat racing is right for you?   Click here to learn more.   Hope to see you at the lake!
