We had another very productive day at the club. Connector plates were installed on the Dock D fixed dock and float docks. The finger docks for Dock D were loaded on a trailer at the hoist and launched into the water. We had a few problems in that the floats immediately capsized due to their narrow configuration. But with determination we were able to right them and attach them to their float docks with a crew of about 6 or 7 men. You will never believe how heavy those things are. Anchors were set out in the slough and with the help of anchor lines and lines going to shore we suspended the configuration in position for the piling and lifting crew to do their work on Monday or Tuesday. In addition to this priority project, Rusty Black continued to make progress in putting the trusses on the small boat rack. More work is needed to be done on this project before completion. Roger Smith filled the bathroom water tank and Matt Wood filled the hoist water tank with the water buffalo we had filled a couple of weeks ago.
I want to thank the following people who assisted in the project:
Without the diligence and hard work of each of these individuals this project would not have been completed.
